My name is Ashley and I love using pen and paper to capture the architectural beauty that surrounds us all in our daily lives. From the beautiful landmarks of far-off cities to the humble homes we live in, there is artistry in the buildings all around us. 

I started developing my sketching skills while I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark in the spring of my junior year. I took a class that taught me how to quickly capture the essence of a building or scene as I passed by it in my travels. I intentionally don't sketch every detail, because I want to leave it open to the interpretation of the viewer.
